Meet Ryan Totka
Co-Founder of RedCarpetMonday®, TornadoPromotions.com, EliteJets and AthletePromotions, Ryan was born in Edison, New Jersey on December 30, 1977. Ryan graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1999 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing. He was named the winner of the 2003 University of Central Florida Rising Star Award for the College of Business and nominated for top 40 under 40 in the Orlando Business Journal. Ryan currently lives in fast growing downtown Orlando, Florida and has started four successful companies over the past ten years.
With a strong desire and passion for sports as both a fan and a player, Ryan founded AthletePromotions, one of the top celebrity booking agencies in the country. His company books athletes and celebrities for corporate appearances, speaking engagements, product endorsements, autograph signings, celebrity golf tournaments and other corporate hospitality events. AthletePromotions was founded on the principal that sports fans and businesses should enjoy the experience of interacting with their favorite celebrity sports figures, both in person and online. As well as assisting corporate clients with booking their favorite celebrities, his goal for his celebrity clients is to give them maximum exposure on the Internet by creating official websites and developing marketing solutions to help connect athletes, corporations and loyal fans, maximizing the power of the Internet.
Being involved in sports all his life, he has hands-on experience in looking for the most creative ways to promote athletes, which include website development, event booking, Internet promotion and creating a strong brand around the athlete. Along the way, he's worked with many world class sports figures, such as Mark Cuban, Emmitt Smith, Terrell Owens, Wayne Gretzky, Joe Theismann, Mike Ditka, Vince Carter, Nick Anderson, Thurman Thomas, Tim Tebow, William "The Fridge" Perry, Doc Rivers, Spud Webb, Zack Greinke, Rickie Weeks, Pat Summerall, Andre Reed, Marv Levy, Steve Garvey, Torry Holt, Lebron James to name a few.
Ryan is the co-founder and President of RedCarpetMonday®, an exclusive Invitation-Only business network for Florida's top business owners, professionals, senior level executives and entrepreneurs. The live events are designed for professionals to relax, socialize and share business ideas. The website is a networking community for members to interact and build business relationships.
Ryan also founded TornadoPromotions.com, Inc., an Internet marketing consulting firm based out of Orlando, Florida. Their web gurus provide search engine optimization services, website development, domain name registration, site hosting and forming strategic Internet partnerships. Over the past ten years, he has helped hundrededs of businesess achieve success on the web.
Ryan actively follows the business ideas of Internet billionaire Mark Cuban, and enjoys listening to the music of John Mayer, Robin Thicke, Jason Derulo and Michael Buble. In his spare time, Ryan constantly looks for ways to change the world and has worked and help support many charities and foundations including: The National MS Society, the Children’s Home Society, the Make a Wish Foundation, Vince Carter's Embassy of Hope, The Fallen Patriot Fund and the UCF Foundation.
